In 1912, a coalminer named Augustin Lesage heard a voice telling him that he was going to become a painter and he then made his first automatic drawings during a spiritualistic seance. He started painting guided by the spirits, and also practiced faith healing. From 1923 on, he devoted himself entirely to painting, producing works characterised by gargantuan size and equillibrium around a center point. His works refer to the Ancient Egyptian Mystery Schools.
Further proving to me that the creation of the "Art World" was to distract humans from the True Purpose of Art, which has always been so for me, which is to channel information that would help us get free.
