Happy Holidays, what have you been celebrating?
Happy belated Thanksgiving for my US folks. With the other December Holidays slowly approaching it is time to clean out the old, reevaluate what has been done, and set up new goals. I've started to check off goals and think about what I want from this coming year. Is it too early?
Maybe it is the desire to not miss out on spring cleaning. Maybe it is the desire to start the New Year early. Maybe the next few weeks are going to fly by and I want to be ready it. Family vacations at the end of the year has a way of speeding every day up and slowing it down all at the same time.
Do you have any travel plans before the New Year?
We are headed out in a few weeks, which feels more like a few days, and when we return the packing begins. Packing and preparing for the next couple months. Before getting into all of that I want to create my annual vision board. An actual board has been created the last few years and although I enjoy creating them I often times forget to update them. This year I want something smaller that I can hang up and cross off. Similar to my monthly calendar and daily planner.
Do you have a vision set for the New Near?
Even if it is just ideas that can be written down and develop later. Documenting the progresses this year is key to being intentional. Usually I create a plan with S.M.A.R.T goals, this year I want to be more of a vision setter.
Less about how it is going to get done, but more so about dreaming big. This isn't for everyone. Most do not accomplish what they set out, I find that I do and need bigger dreams to work towards.
Much of this coming year has already been accounted for. Not much more will be added, but the following year is wide open. It will be the first year that I can dream intentionally. So is it too early? What are you looking to do in the New Year?
