Life is certainly a circle. I was a witness to a death struggle after traversing through the park with the family. We walked along the creek and looked for wildlife in the form of crawfish. We saw some minnows and crawfish shells.
The kids were able to play on a small play place and I was able to swing on the metal pole swing. The swing was large and easily handled my 200 pound frame. My older female friend was swinging next to me and she weighed a bit less than me. The swing did not notice that we placed our derrieres in the same section of swing.
Eventually after we walked most of the grounds withoht following the very long trails we headed back to the rental car. I was privileged to traverse within a 2019 Chrysler 300 for one week. Someone not paying close enough attention rear ended me, for the second time in six months. My wife and children were making a ruckus while was checking our gear. "Hurry!" my family shouted, almost in unison. "A spider is eating a lightning bug."
I hurry around the automobile and ready my nice cell camera. Snap, snap, snap is barely heard as the celly takes many photos. I believ if I take more pbotos I'm bount to grab a good shot.
With a little croping the photo close up looks a lot better. I can actually see the jaws.
After I gathered some photos I opened the door. The battle raged on. I am not sure why the battle was not yet over and feasting had begun. While I was deep in thought my fearful 4 year old knocked the arachnid to the gravel lot. His prey escaping as he was likely stunned in the fall.
I hope you enjoyed my park adventure.
