Im blaming it on getting high.. My funny for the day

So I'm sitting in my yard (yesterday evening) smoking

This little gem of a nugget❤ out of my pinch hitter when my best friend Chris calls me up. He ask if I could go feed his dog Brutus, cuz he will be out of town for a few days. Of course I said yes. So after supper I tell my youngest to come on and to drive me down there. 🚐

Well, this is an interesting trip as he's a new driver. OK, actually he did really well. We didn't almost die or anything.. BUT, I thought he knew not to listen to me when I get right and left mixed up (I'm telling him how we're gonna go to get there by taking back roads. He has lived here his entire life.. so he should know the general direction we're suppose to be going.) So tell me why would we take a left and turn back towards the way we basically just came from instead of taking a right?! 🔃🔄(Oops my bad..i did say left but meant take a right. He's definitely my kid!🤓😜).... But once headed in the right direction all went well and we arrived safely at my friend's house.😍

When we pulled into his driveway I see a pretty butterfly sitting on a blade of grass in the yard.🦋🦋Yall, I get so excited and I start telling my son..Oh look, its bedding down for the night! Explaining how I had read Hive account@faltermann post at the sleeping place a couple days earlier and now here I was catching my very own sleeping butterfly! I quickly grab my cell phone and jump out of my truck. 😍😁I use my qlens mode on my phone cam so it will take several fast shots. I captured pics from front and back of it.

Man! This is great cuz its being perfectly still for me to take all these pictures. I look at my captured pics. Wow, its really pretty, but.. 🤔hmm either this thing is really sleeping or something is bad wrong cuz its not moved not once! So, I'm looking at it trying to decide what to do.🤔 I don't want to disturb it, but I've got to know. So i gently blow on it.🌬 It didn't move. At this point realization is coming over me but I'm still hoping its really just a sound sleeper. My courisity couldn't stand it anymore .. I reached an touched it. Yall, that thing was so dry I'm surprised it didn't disintegrate! I was like, damn!😝 I've been taking pictures of a dead butterfly! instead of it sleeping one!🤣🤣 Anyways its still pretty. Hope yall enjoy. I'm gonna blame not being able to tell the difference on being high!😜
