It took some buying and a bit of time but I can now state that I became a PAL Dolphin.
Over the last two days, I bought roughly 2,800 PAL to push my wallet over 5,000.
This is a commitment that I wanted to make to the platform because of my long term belief in what the community is trying to do. It is dedicated to producing a platform where curation rewards those who are putting forth the effort to produce interesting content that the community likes.
What I am also excited about is the possibility this presents in creating a turnkey system which allows other communities duplicate what is being done with PAL. Abundance is something that I take seriously and believe is becoming available to all who are on here. The reward breakdown of the PAL token could lead to more of this as the token spreads to more users.
One thing I did notice is that it took a while to buy what I needed. The liquidity of the token is not great. This means a lot of people, who received the "claimdrop" are not dumping. To me, this shows the commitment of those who are presently involved in this.
I also saw how I kept having to buy up in price. This is another positive since the token has been moving up since the platform was introduced a couple weeks ago. When you have thousands of users who are committed, the selling will be minimal, at least to start.
Is this akin to being involved in Steem circa the summer of 2016? I do not know yet I am encouraged at the possibilities.
If you are interested in purchasing PAL tokens, log into Steem-Engine.com using your Steem log in. Once there, go to "Wallet" and click on "Deposit" to fund your account. The nice thing about Steem-Engine is that it enables funding via many different tokens including BTC, ETH, and EOS. Of course, STEEM is also one of the primary ways to trade.
The platform does charge a 1% fee on all currencies entering AND exiting. However, trades are free on the DEX meaning that one can convert to Steem-Engine based tokens without cost.
This truly is an exciting time and I am very optimistic of what both PALnet and Steem=Engine add to the platform.
The future is looking bright.
