I never saw all the beaches in the world.
I have been visiting several in the Netherland and other countries, in Europe and Africa.
It is true sand in your food is no fun but neither is laying down on stones, rock or humps of clay. I all had/met that in Sicily, Malta and Hungary and in the Netherlands at riversides.
So my favourite beach has sand and it is at the seaside.
The smell of salty water belongs to the beach just like warm sand and if a soft wind is blowing it should be a warm one.
A beach is no fun if it is crowdy.
People always seem to love to lay next to me. Please, keep distance. I hate it. If you can go out by yourself you can lay down on a free spot alone too.
It is even less fun if they play balgames and are too stupid to throw or catch a ball and you get hit time after time. Go practise somewhere else first, a place without people.
Drunks are no fun neither are dirty men (the dirty old man is nowadays a dirty young man) and heaps of garbage and smelly shores like some beaches in Tunesia.
A beach is no fun if a strong wind is always blowing.
The kind of wind that blows you of the beach, is the reason you are not allowed to swim and makes it impossible to sit or lay down.
The Dutch islands Texel and Schiermonnikoog have nice beaches but it is too cold overthere for me.
It is a long time ago I was in Romania, Bulgaria, England and Turkey. In those days their beaches were nice (but crowdy), I wonder how clean their beaches are nowadays.
I don't think you can find the greatest beaches where I live. They will be somewhere but not here. If you found my favourite beach let me know.
