Hey everyone, my name is Daniel!
I'm 29 years old and basically a I'm a DIY papercraft enthusiast so that'll probably be most of what you'll be seeing from me.
I think one of the best feelings in the world is that sense of accomplishment you get when you finish a project you've been working on for a while and DIY projects tend to take long and require lots of patience so I love that feeling I get when I'm staring at whatever I've just been working on for the past several hours.
I've been into papercrafting for about 6 years now and I've tried a couple different styles. I've done really simple models such as Cubees:
There are some really detailed models based on video games and movies such as this ones:
And lately I've been really into low poly models such as:
As you can see there is almost no limit to what you can do with paper, if you can design it, you can build it!
The design part can be kinda tricky. There are some computer software that are needed to design and unfold the modele to create a 2D printable template ready to cut, score and glue.
I'm really looking forward to sharing my builds and designs with everyone!
