Amazing post and you have eloquently described what I, and probably others, have been thinking about lately.
I had a conversation with a friend's daughter (17yrs) about the SNP's '3rd gender' nonsense, apparently it's discussed in schools. Her opinion was very much in favour of having a 3rd gender classification (male, female & non-binary). I explained to her that 'male' and 'female' are tangible objects that can be compared and differentiated whereas non-binary (a person who feels like a man one day and a woman another day regardless of what's between their legs) is an emotional, hormonal state, non tangible and cannot be categorised as a gender. I've also noticed a fear of the future in young people who are about to leave education. I left in the 70s and couldn't wait to be independent.
The psychology behind this dumbing down in our education system is deliberate and our politicians are either too dumb to notice or are complying with the 'agenda', there appears to be so many agendas that are designed to the detriment of society and it will be your generation and mine that will have to come up with a solution as critical thinking is being drummed out. God help us.
