I've worked directly with young students for the better part of the past 15 years. Despite all the students I have worked with, it still amazes me what my 5-year-old is able to create with Legos and the patience he shows when building.
He is able to sit and work on Lego projects for well over an hour straight with little help, and he can focus even longer when working on his own creations, which I hope to share periodically here!
The first are two race cars that he built himself without using instructions just using memory from previous builds to help him design these cars
This one was a simple Christmas decoration that he wanted to and did display during Christmas
A fire house set that he built fully on his own.
My favorite and most recent build is his rendition of the Space Needle. After we visited Seattle, it became his favorite building!
