The Spanish coach, Unai Emery, announced on Friday that he would leave Paris Saint-Germain as early as June when his contract expires, asserting that the decision was "the best for all".
"I have informed the players that after my meeting with the club president and sporting director, we decided that I will not continue next season," Emre said at a news conference.
"I will keep my focus, until the end of the league and the final of the French Cup, and then I will see the options available to me."
"I gained a lot of experience. The first six months were very difficult, especially after the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. I had to adapt, but the level of the team improved gradually, but coming out against Barcelona was a painful and difficult moment."
