This is one of my favourite go-to place during lunch hour, near to my workplace in KKIP. Menggatal Ngiu Chap (ngiu chap means beef stew in Hakka dialect, I think) a family runned business that starts off at Menggatal Town. Famous for its beef stew noodle, this place never failed to pack up customer everyday especially during lunch hour. I remembered at one time I had to wait in line to get a seat.
The prices of a bowl of Ngiu Chap noodle range from RM11 and above depended on the variation of beef you wanted. There's meetball, lean meat or local slang 'daging manis' means sweet meat, and the ever popular favourite tendons.
Today I don't feel like having too many carbs so I ordered the lean meat soup. It was a hot bowl of happiness during a rainy season like now. It was called 'sweet meat' for a reason, because they had the sweetest, most tenderest, and juiciest beef ever.
For those living or working around this area who haven't try this place out, it is highy recommended.
