Negros Occidental , particularly Bacolod City, has a very special place in my heart.
When I was still studying in college, my parents stayed in Bacolod City and continued to have an abundant and peaceful life in the city.
I only visited the place whenever I am free and every time I had a chance, I see to it that I can visit some of the nearby spots which are worth seeing and keep the memories with me.
I actually grew up in Cebu City and stayed in the big city until I graduated from college. I worked in the Metro Manila after college but went back to Cebu when I got married and raised our kids in Cebu City.
My latest visit to Bacolod City was last July 2018, with my newly wed daughter and her husband.
We visited the Ruins in Talisay City , just a few minutes drive from our home in Bata. I can never get enough looking at the Ruins , listening to the stories told about it and witnessing the improvement done in its surroundings.
