@Partiko, with the mission of building “fast and beautiful Steem on the go”, set out just 4 days ago to raise 100,000 SP in delegations for the first round of their delegation program.
Partiko raised 80k within 3 days and then received a 120k SP delegation from earlier today.
If you haven’t tried the Partiko app (available on both IOS and Android), then I highly recommend it. I first tried the app a while back and didn’t really get myself to use it very much. I was too attached to the web interfaces like Busy and Steemit to feel like adapting to a new look and feel.
Around the time of Steemfest 3 is when I got back to using the Partiko IOS app. It’s seen a lot of improvement since the first experience I had with it and I really love the app.
It not only provides a sleek interface with the Steem blockchain that is both beautiful and fast (their mission statement), but it also provides a sort of gamification to interacting on the Steem blockchain.
Steem inherently has the gamification model to upvoting, commenting and posting, but Partiko adds another layer with Partiko points.
You can earn points by checking-in each day, commenting, upvoting, posting, etc. There’s even a leaderboard within the app so that you can see who’s earning the most points!
These points are redeemable for upvotes from , but I’ve been holding on to whatever points I’ve managed to accumulate thus far. When I heard about the Partiko delegation plan and read up on how it’s structured, I realized that the points are going to be WAY more valuable in the future as partiko develops and raises new delegations.
Before round 1 began, had ~20k SP to their name… Now they’ve got over 220k. Quite the significant jump!
The speed with which Partiko was able to raise these delegations is a true testament to the mission statement of the Steem blockchain.
As has been said many times before: the mission of the Steem blockchain is to empower entrepreneurs and communities to build the DApps of the future.
Partiko is a frontrunner example of that mission and it’s exciting to see a project with real tangibility flourishing so profoundly.
In crypto land, ICOs typically involve selling a token in exchange for BTC or ETH.. Projects raise money on the promise that they’ll build their DApp of the future. They write a fancy whitepaper and they sell it to anyone who will listen.
The key difference though is in Partiko’s approach. I believe their approach is far more effective for both Partiko itself as well as the investors (and community members) who decide to participate. Partiko built their amazing app first, improved upon it and then started this delegation round.
By working in this order, Partiko isn’t selling some worthless token to investors based solely on a future promise. They’re allowing investors to participate in building the future on top of an already existing (and quite amazing) app by delegating SP to it and earning perks in return.
Perks Are the Future:
Sadly, if you’re reading this post, it means that the first round of Partiko’s delegation plan is already at its cap and you’ll have to wait for round 2!
The benefits (Partiko Perks) that have been announced for round 1 delegators is very exciting to me. This is the future of crowdfunding in my opinion. Why ask investors to just throw money at your token when you can create a valuable ecosystem that encourages both passive investment and active participation.

I believe that Partiko is setting a standard for raising delegations and funding for a project on the Steem blockchain (and hopefully, within the crypto space as a whole).
