I'm wondering if stable coin markets (USDT, USDC, TUSD, PAX) will dominate in Crypto for next few years. The fact that investors and traders can now buy certain assets directly with their stable coins without going through BTC is something that before was not possible.
This garantees:
- More control over gains and losses.
- The possibility to invest in a project without counting for BTC volatility.
- Money to stay in Crypto instead of going into FIAT and be quickly traded back.
- No need for Banks 😂👍
I think if we want to garantee some kind of storage of value we need a way that can protect investors from massive losses during Bearish Markets. Stable coins are currently a good solution. Maybe in few decades we will only have BTC as a form of payment and things will be different. As of today, FIAT currencies is still the most important form of payments and we have to deal with it.
