Cuteness alert :)
We recently adopted a little stray kitty that was hanging around outside. Both my neighbor (2 apartments down) and I were feeding her. She was already fixed at the local Humane Society (which is why her ear is cut) and prior to that had a litter of kittens.
I started trying to get her to trust me back in December. Finally, she started sleeping on my lap outside. In February I decided it was time to take her to the vet for a checkup and testing. Since I already had an indoor cat, I needed to make sure she wasn’t sick.
I lost a cat we had for 16 years last year right after we moved here. It took me a long time to decide to add a second cat back into our family.
Our current indoor cat’s name is Fuzzy. I named the little stray kitty Butterscotch. We call her ‘Bean’ pretty often though.
It’s been over a month and Fuzzy still doesn’t like the ‘intruder’! LOL, I am sure it will just take time. After Rosemary was gone, she was the only kitty for 10 months. Fuzzy is 14 years old and 14lbs, Butterscotch is 3 years old and 7 lbs.
