These yellow hibiscus are all over the gardens of high-rise apartments along the coast. These yellow ones are beautiful and yellow hibiscus are not so common. I have seen red, white, pink and violet colors.

They are cultivated as ornamental plants most especially in warmer regions with tropical or subtropical climates. There are several hundreds species available and the most common is the hibiscus rosa-sinensis, the usual red flowers we see in gardens everywhere.. I have the white and violet hibiscus but they are late bloomers and when they flower, the petals open beautifully.
