Hey Steemiains,
In the past week i have written and abandoned many pieces. Abandoned mot because i wanted to, but because so much has happened. And I just didn't have the capacity to get anything written completely or share anything of worthy of a post or insight.
From my the title you can prob gather that the kid finally made her appearance! A tad bit early, but she obviously gets that from her dad as he has to be early for everything!!!
How It All Went Down
My doctor has been keeping a close eye on the kid, due to some abnormalitiesnin the placenta. I went in for a checkup last Tuesday and he said all was good. We planned to schedule c-section for Friday and sent me to the maternity ward for a small test just to confirm all was well!!
The mister and I were discussing whay we wanted for dinner and in walks the nurse and tells us we not leaving. And they need to push me into theatre immediately. Doc gets there and asks how im feeling. Me being in denial, suggests we all go for supper before we proceed. I mean who can operate on an empty stomach. My plan to stall obvs did not work. And just like that i was on the operating table, high as a kite, being butchered to rescue my little girl.
Fast Forward 10 days later
I'm knee deep in mamahood duties and learning on the job. There hace been tears of joy and pain and it's nothing like i could have imagined.
Best Part so far: Cuddles with my little girl!
Worst Part so far: My nipples are taking a beating of note. Feels like a squirrel has mistaken them for nuts and is chewing at them slowly!!

- Netflix and pump - netflix and chill has changed alot for me over these past few days. im watching alot of netflix while expressing. Needless to say im clued up about all the new programing available!! Yes im missing out on real life.
- things i can do with one hand - life is changing fast. We gotta be more dynamic and become one handed ninjas. A guide For moms, dads and people with one hand of course.
- the naked truths about mamahood - because there is a lot of shit nobody tells you!!
