Illhan Omar took a stand few days ago in showing concern of the AIPAC’s influence on congress and boy did it rustle some feathers, and not on the republican side but also on the democratic side, which goes to show that all politicians are bought in the end.
Was it really antisemitic
Here’s the thing.
It wasn’t.
There was absolutely no way that pointing out that congress being funded by a foreign lobby to influence its foreign policy an antisemitic thing to say.
I mean if your gonna cover Israel’s ass do it properly man, because nobody is this stupid. That’s like saying it’s islamaphobic if Saudi sends money to the US.
It’s stupid and that’s not what it means, it also means those politician defending Israel are clearly paid for handsomely by the Israeli lobby and therefore this only highlights the issue that Israel influences congress.
Whether it be your ally, it matters now because a foreign country has been influencing your government, changing your policies and what not.
Just like the mainstream media likes to point out Russian influence in the presidential election. However, when the talk touches upon Israel, all of a sudden it’s racist and a taboo to talk about that.
