If you were here last year you’ll remember how everyone was talking about Viva Coin.
I know a lot of people bought these “Crowns”, so I did a bit of research and found out they are changing the name to AVIV.
When I first laid eyes on this project about ten red flags went off simultaneously. It seemed like a scam from the very beginning... I steered very clear of this one...never got involved at all.
I wonder how many people lost money in Viva?
Steemit has been hilarious to observe from an anthropological perspective. Scammers come and go. People get pissed off/rageflagged, disillusioned. They quit, commit Steemicide then some slink back. Others never return.
Bear markets see mass die offs, some like me get dayjobs when Steem withers, But a lot of us can never quit this place. We’ve put too much of ourselves in it. Quitting for me now would feel like cutting off one of my own arms.
It would be funny to compile a list of all the scammers that have graced the trending page..... now that would make a funny book I’d pay to read.... I wonder what Craig Grant and Jerry Banfield are doing tonight? Oh wait a minute, I don’t want to picture Jerry bent over...
I don’t write much personal stuff these days but my 86 year-old dad crashed his car and is doing pretty bad. Steven Alexander died earlier and I’m kind of haunted about that since we made videos together. I am not looking for sympathy here, just filling in some details...everything has changed and will continue to do so.
