In the past the nations were fighting with swords and guns against one another in the battle fields. But today the trade war is another form of battle between or among competing countries. The present popular trade war is between USA and China. Their national leaders have come together to negotiate so that they could come into consensus for the best of their own countries.
Nevertheless, they could not really come into agreement. To date, the trade war between these two vast nations is ongoing. And it is expected to affect the economic of these two countries as well as other countries.
There is no visible sign that the trade war will soon come to an end. It is difficult to predict the outcome as USA seems to fight in order to win, whereas, China reciprocates with action for her survival. Looking at history, a country fought to win might not end up as the winner, and the opponent fought for survival might not be the loser ultimately.
It doesn’t matter what is the outcome of the trade war, the nations have not become more civilised through historical lessons as they attempt to resolve tension through trade war. And that would not benefit themselves and the rest of the world.
在过去，各国在战场上以刀鎗相互打仗。但今天，贸易战已经是竞争国家之间的另一种形式战争。目前美国和中国之间正在进行贸易战，而两国领导人曾齐聚一堂进行谈判，以便能够为自己国家的最高利益而达成共识。
