I remember watching Paul Scholes play football, and even though I don't really remember his pace, it is still interesting to see that he says that the way in which he used his brain helped him make up for lack of talent. So, there is a big truth hidden in this quote... even though you might lack talent in one way or another, you can use what you have and in a certain way make up for your lacks elsewhere.
If you only see obstacles on your way to reach your goals, try using other methods to reach the same goal. It might be that you will find a way still, even though it might not be through being the quickest, but through having the smartest brain, patience, or perseverance.
