Death is indeed a natural event when we look at nature, we understand that everything is ephemeral and that all life is doomed to know death. It is death that gives meaning to our lives as you so beautifully express. Death is part of us and we must not wait for the fateful moment to become aware of it.
As Krishnamurti said: Death is not a horrible thing, something to avoid, to postpone, but rather a companion of every day. From this perception is born an extraordinary sense of immensity.
