This is a short story post to let the community know what I have been working on. If anyone knows
and reads her posts, you know she has been dealing with Malaria on a quite frequent basis. This is quite concerning and is something we can help address.
The whole day yesterday was spent researching herbs to aid in the prevention and alleviation of Malaria, plants that naturally repel mosquitoes, and products to help repel mosquitoes.
Below is a short video of some deer in the backyard and a brief discussion of what is being worked on. Yes, my hair is crazy in the video as I don't even think I brushed my hair yesterday while working on this.
The end goal is to send these products to Nigeria. From this, we can hopefully garner what works and what doesn't and get a list in place of products that work from her experience and hopefully help other Steemians who may be dealing with these same issues.
First, I must make sure the products are not on the banned import list. Also, we want to be responsible and not introduce an invasive species to the country, so I must check that. Lastly, the products must be checked to ensure the carrier can legally send the items via airmail.
This is just a preliminary announcement and the day will be spent researching this some more. Just wanted to get it out there so the community can start discussing. A post will be out later today or tomorrow with a more thorough overview of the project.
