Hi! We recently suspended the PayPal to GCash service because we detected payment fulfillment issues between the two parties. This is a preventive measure to protect you, our customers and the integrity of your transactions. We're working closely with PayPal to get the service back to normal. We hope for your understanding.
Unfortunately, GCash sent me a bad news early this morning. That quoted message above had somehow made me feel dark because that's the main reason why I got GCash installed on my phone. I also had bought a GCash card linked to my account so I can withdraw my PayPal funds instantly.
Let me share with you the beauty of instant withdrawal of PayPal funds made possible by GCash. Read on...
BitLanders pays their users through PayPal. Before, I had this dilemma about cashing out my hard earned PayPal funds. In the Philippines, the easiest way before I figured out about GCash's instant withdrawal was through UnionBank's EON.
A payment I received from bitLanders today.
However, after I learned that GCash has this option, I switched and never used EON but I still do have the card with me, it's still active. Good thing I didn't cancel it just yet.
PAYPAL TO GCASH INSTANT WITHDRAWAL
(1) On GCash's mobile application, I linked my PayPal account by adding my username and password.
(2) After that's confirmed, under Cash-In option, select PayPal, input the amount that I would like to cash in and confirm by entering the PIN.
Today, when I attempted to make a cash in procedure, it gave me an error.
(3) In just a few seconds, the account will be updated with the new balance.
(4) From there, the linked card is now possible to be inserted into an Automated Teller Machine and withdraw the cash!
That's it!
This is super beneficial especially if the amount is less than Php 7000 because GCash charges Php 20 only for any amount that will be withdrawn while bank withdrawal charges Php 50 and then a waiting time of 2-4 business days.
But now that they have suspended it, I guess I am back to using EON then. I still do hope that GCash enables that service again soon.
