I leave you now, with a song in my heart,
Which the joy of creation instills.
Sun sets for all to see, bringing the dark,
Where blessed rest and peace flows in rills.
Singing my song, I shed my cares and woes,
Embracing and accepting my state.
Contentment fills as I watch the day close,
Now I can relieve myself of freight.
My muse subsides, as to my rest I slide,
Quiet soothes my mind’s cacophony.
