The past eight years of conflict in eastern Ukraine have inflicted profound and lasting damage to children on both sides of the line of contact. Now, the suffering extends across the country. Hundreds of thousands of people are without safe water or electricity due to damage to infrastructure, and many have been cut off from health care. UNICEF is working with partners to provide vital humanitarian supplies, and to reach vulnerable children and families with essential services, including health, education, protection, water and sanitation.
