PeakD is used frequently as a front end for the Hive Platform to create content, comment and curate posts. However there are lots of additional tools on the PeakD platform that most users overlook.
PeakD Drop Down Menu
When you first open PeakD, your user name is in the upper right side of the page. Clicking on your user name will open the PeakD drop down menu. The menu has lots of items which you should explore.
- My Blog
- All Posts
- Replies
- Wallet
- Dashboard
Governance Section
- Witnesses
- Proposals
- About PeakD
My Account Section
- PeakD Settings
- Switch User
- Logout
I use the Wallet and All Posts topics very often but today I want to share some of the items that are in the Dashboard.
PeakD Dashboard
The PeakD Dashboard provides lots of additional categories including:
- Settings
- Analytics
- Drafts
- Templates
- Scheduled Posts
- BookMarks
- My Lists
- Promote
- Referrals
- Node Benchmark
- About PeakD
- Services
However today I will only be touching on the Analytics menu item.
PeakD Analytics
When you click on Analytics on the Dashboard page, it will display lots of information about the activity on your account. As you can see, I have 6894 Total Comments. My Voting Mana is at 84.54%. My Resource Credits are fully recharged at 100% and my Vote Value is 0.04
The main part that I love about this page is the graphs which give you a visual display of your account activity. The three graphs along the top row share the rewards and account growth.
The Author Rewards graph reflects that I had one post that had a very high payout otherwise on the days that I did create content there seems to be a range that I receive in rewards.
The graph related to my curation rewards shows that I have lots of ups and downs. While the account growth reflects the upward trend. The two spots on the graph that appear to jump are from the Hive Power Up Day and that one nice post with the high Author reward.
There are two graphs in the middle of the page which reflect your Incoming and Outcoming votes.
Posts/Replies and Comments
I always forget about the two graphs at the bottom of the PeakD Analytics page. I forget to scroll down to the bottom of the page. These show the number of Posts/Replies and Comments that you make on a daily basis. Since I have not been as consistent in my content creation, commenting and replying as I should be.
These two graphs will help me stay more on top of when I am falling behind in those areas. Creating a post on a daily basis is easy to track in other places. Seeing the number of Comments and Replies that you make is made easy by these two graphs.
The comment count shows there were days that I only made one or two comments. That is not very many considering all of the good content that is on the Hive Platform. Due to this, I have started to try and make a few more comments each day. I would love to be able to comment on 10 post on a daily basis but it will take time to work myself up to that level. But in the meantime, I can look at these graphs and see if I am improving or not and adjust accordingly.
I hope you find this information useful and that it will help you gage your Hive Activity as well.
