If you want success, then you need to love hard work. If you want success, you must love to learn, and you must love to study.
If you want success, you must not only be willing to make sacrifices, but you must make sacrifices. What does it mean? When you body says no, your sacrifice says yes. When you don't want to get out of bed, you are still so mentally strong that you do what's needed, even though it hurts.
But, even more than this... you must love what you do! If you hate it, you will not manage to love it, and as a result, you will never ever get as good as you want to.
If you want success as a programmer, no matter how hard the task is, you must love the act of programming and creating things by writing code. If you don't, you will never become a fantastic programmer.
And if you want to become a fantastic football player, you must love to run with the ball, shoot the ball, and love the process of becoming better and better.
