With respect, it is not global warming that threatens us, it is global cooling due to a grand solar minimum. If you are genuinely concerned about the welfare of humanity then I suggest you check a couple of my posts on the subject which present an alternative perspective on the science that has nothing to do with big oil and everything to do with the welfare of humanity. If I am right and I hope I am not, but if I am then we as a species face a threat barreling down on us and will be here in full force within a few years.
