Oh how the tables have turned. Around six months ago I made the conscious decision to put more work on my plate for this school year because my plate last year felt close to empty. An empty plate was boring, and it left me starving for more. Now that my plate is full, I don't think I can consume all the food before it spoils. Honestly, I think the me of six months ago was quite naïve and overestimated my appetite.
There's so much to do and so much to learn, and my oh my there's just so much to do. I feel like I'm learning genuinely important information about other people and the history of the world in this AP World History: Modern class, but the workload is astonishing. Not even three full weeks in and out all of my seven classes I've had more than two tests, three quizzes, and four projects. It's as if the information is flying at me. Srivijaya Empire, marginal relative frequency, empirical rule for a bell curve, functionality of certain graphs, Sunni vs Shia Muslims, hierarchy of scale, and even about a bicephalic Tlatilco female figurine and how wide hips could reference fertility.
Only nine more months to go.
