Plant of the family of azizov from southern Africa. The plant is widespread in Madagascar and Zimbabwe. Delosperma begins to blossom in May. Already in September, and the plant is still blooming. Color of flowers can be white, yellow, pink, scarlet, salmon, violet or lilac.
Buds tend to close in rainy or cloudy weather and open again to meet the bright sun.
These flowers look like stars. The base and the core of the flower are white, which creates the effect of flickering stars on the lawn.
