Dainty delicate daisies dot the ditches with a delightful display of colour to the roadsides in summer. Say that fast ! 😂
Daisy means day’s eye.
Flowers as names became popular in the late Victorian era. Daisy is also a nickname for Margaret. Marguerite, the French version of that name, means the oxeye daisy.
