I would like you to meet dumbo...
A cute 3 months old mixed pup. His father was a dachshund and his mother was a japanese spitz. I really don't know how they mixed up but i guess its a dog thing... Dumbo was i think the 4th of the 6 dogs that were brought up to this world but sad to say only 4 of them survived. The 2 has died upon birth. Nonetheless dumbo was playful and of all of his siblings he is the most charismatic of them all. His cuteness will surely melt your heart out.
A few weeks back we noticed that he suddenly stops eating and the energy that he has shown has faded away. So we ask some of our friends on what to do. Eventually some of our friends told us to gave the vet a visit. At first we were hesitant because of what the pandemic brought us. You know that every penny count these days but there is a saying that if you love someone you would do everything to him and a puppy is not an exception. Finally fews days back, we brought dumbo to the vet. He was immediately confined due to a disease. He was diagnosed with anemia.
It was a sad moment but our hope was high. It can easily be treated but the vet told us that there is a lot of complications that took place. His platelets is down and his liver could be damaged. It did not scratched our hope because we knew that dumbo is a strong pup and he is fighting. Whenever we visit him, he always try to stand up and wiggle his tail. At around 3 o'clock in the afternoon we got a call from the vet that dumbo finally gave up. It was so dishearthening because we thought that he will make it through.
This is the last picture taken of him. Although very weak he got up and played with us. It is very painful that you are hoping that everything will be just fine and in a matter of seconds it snapped. Im a typical dog person but this experience for me is out of ordinary because it is the first time that i attached myself to a dog. This will serve as a memory that i will never forget. I also believe that all dogs go to heaven...
