Yeah well body abuse will always result in sickness. Take it from me. š
Reasons I Got Sick
Even if I drink my superfoods mix everyday I also take a break from it from time to time. Add that hiatus to not sleeping much (Monday last wk = 1 hr sleep, Tue = 5 hrs or less, Wed & Thu abt the same, Friday...) voila! My lowered immune system said hello to the flu virus! š¤¦
Or, I believe it's from the tumbler I used to use when I was still working in the BPO industry. Yes tumblers can be "secret incubators" of the flu virus. I suspect it's true. Time and again I've proven it. After a while, I would regularly get sick when I drink from my tumbler/s . š¤
Let's Blame the Tumbler
This several years old purple container is what I brought with me to training at my new job last week.
Well who would have thought not washing it before using it would make me sick. I KNOW I washed it before when I stopped using it months ago. š¤· I should have done so again but since I only slept for an hr I didn't have time to do so.
I only washed and then disinfected it with vinegar on Wed when I felt I was starting to come down with the flu. Huhu. By Thu I was sneezing and my throat had the signature scratchy/grainy feeling. Oh lordy.
Now instead of me getting all my requirements done this week I'm at home resting/coughing/sniffling and blowing my nose... What have you. š¤§ I'll have to finish my requirements next week.
Now What?
Hey I finally decided to try this out. I bought it back in August as a personal sample but didn't know what I'd use it for. Well now it comes in handy! Haha.
Why Am I Happy To Use This?
Surprise surprise, I never thought I'd like this product but whoa it's really nice. š
1. It's better than Vicks or White Flower
At least for me it is. Why? Because it's cool and mentholy plus it helps with the clogged nose feeling. Yay!
2. It does not make the users smell like an old person. š
You know when you use Vicks, White Flower or any other remedy for muscle pain, headache, etc., people tend to know you're using them because you smell like old people who use those too, right? Well Escential Liniment has a Sampaguita scent so you're still IN with the young ones when you use it. š
I mean who wouldn't love a fragrant person beside them? If they only knew why you smelled like a flower eh? Hahaha.
3. It's made up of all natural ingredients.
If you check the first picture you'll see what I'm talking about. š Aside from that, here's why it is also beneficial to use:
I have rubbed this on my neck and back and it really feels great. It reminds me of Vicks vaporub but a more fragrant and more natural so it's a healthier alternative. š It's not greasy too so that's another plus!
Not sure if it has a bad side at all... For me everything about this product is good. I'll just keep using this for the whole week. I have a few more days to go before Friday. Hopefully I'll feel better by then.
What About Corona Virus?
Well, what about it? š I'm treating my flu as a normal illness. No need to panic since I am not experiencing any shortness of breath at all and other worse symptoms. I just drink a lot of water than usual plus vitamins and sleep. š Of course I now drink my trusty One Opti Juice everyday again. š
