Want to scape the hassle and bustle of Baguio City?
Then spark your wanderlust at the Northern Blossom of Atok, Benguet. From Baguio to Atok it takes us approximately 1 and 30 minutes to arrive to our destination. We used a private car of a good friend to save money. The zig-zag road of Atok, Benguet is surrounded by the majestic mountains of Cordillera so Its highly recommended to start your amazing adventure at earliest in the morning, as a reward you'll picture the golden sunrise of the North.
From Baguio to our destination a friend of mine's sweet smile never fades, like who never does if the scenery is awesome? Pine trees and cool breeze along the way is enough to make you appreciate Benguet Province.
NORTHERN BLOSSOM 🌸
The highlight of our journey. The farm was opened due to public demand, owned by Mrs. Lany Ganayan. As we pay our entrance fee (P200) They introduced us to our friendly tour guide.
We started to stray around theGarden that leaves me mesmerized. It was a summer geataway so temperature is cold but not too much to freeze us. All the fascinating flowers are rare and unequaled. Some are delicate, so we require good care not to touch the petals in getting pictures and gently walking on the side of the garden.
They feature different varieties of vibrant floras and plants that was perfectly situated with a scenic views of the neighboring breathtaking mountains of the Cordillera and one is the most famous
Mt. Pulag.
We went first to visit the gorgeous white larkspur (signifies"happy-go-lucky") As they have different hues. They have purple (represents "first love and sweet disposition) Pink (signifies fickleness)
Next is the rose cabbage that makes Northern Blossom famous. They also have different shade which is white and purple. And you know what? This flora is edible according to our tour guide.
Our tour guide cites all the names of the flowers, but I forgot them so here's what I recollect, a fascinating floras like Snap Dragons, Matthiolas, million flowers.
