Thank God, It's Friday! It's Friday in the Philippines. Yes, It's a rainy Friday the 13th!
Based on Christian legacy, Friday the 13th is viewed as conflicting and inimical day. Do you believe that Friday the 13th is unlucky? To me, it is only one preferably ordinary day. As indicated by Western superstition, it originates from the narrative of Jesus' last supper and torturous killing, where there were thirteen men accumulated around the table before his demise on Good Friday. In spite of the fact that the most punctual records of this date being "unfortunate" go back to just the nineteenth century.
I don't do anything special or different on this day seeing it as Friday the thirteenth. I rarely believe though that "bad or good luck" exist. For example: On Friday the 13th, a teenager on a car goes around a corner and hits a gas station. He seriously injured himself can barely walk. After a few months, he survived and came home from the hospital in a wheelchair. Is he unlucky because he had an accident or pretty much lucky because he survived?
As a summary, 13 is a good number for me. I won a raffle with that number before and it's on a Friday lol. My husband and daughter's birthdates are also 13. So, there you go. Any misfortune sign is just terrible in the event that you believe in it emphatically enough to give it a chance to influence your thoughts and behavior. One love.bloghound
