Why Tyrion Lannister is Everybody’s Favorite

Almost all of the polls found in the internet award Tyrion Lannister as the most liked Game of Thrones character. With his wit, sense of humor, wisdom and , there is no doubt why Tyrion wins the viewers hearts. Here’s my 5 reasons why:

1. He is a man of wisdom.
   No one can deny the fact that Tyrion is one of the wisest characters in Game of Thrones. In fact he became Daenerys’ advisor. Also, in the Battle of Blackwater where he led the Lannister army, the triumph of the Lannisters was because of his use of wildfire. Along the entire series, there are also words of wisdom that were dropped by our favorite hero Tyrion.
2. He has a good sense of humor.
   I mean come on. Among all of the GOT characters, Tyrion might be considered the funniest. His lines are classic! Especially with Bronn who I must say is also a man with a good sense of humor, you can never watch GOT without a smile on your face.
3. He stands up for others.
   Joffrey might be one of the GOT characters who gained a lot of hate and the only person that could roast and slap Joffrey is no other than Tyrion. Even when Joffrey became the superior, Tyrion continually disciplines Joffrey as he makes worst decisions and undermines Sansa.
4. Size doesn’t hinder him.
   Another reason why people like Tyrion is because he does not make his being a dwarf a hindrance. He is very brave and even if there are lots of challenges that may come his way, he continually surpass each of them with such finesse.
5. He drops the best lines.
   There is no argument that Tyrion has the best lines in the show. From life lessons to war, just everything in between Tyrion never fails to give the most brilliant quotes. One of which is, “Never forget what you are, the rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor and it can never be used to hurt you.”
