Hello Steemit Fretz!
Welcome to my Philippines Series, where you’ll get to understand and learn more about Filipino cultures and beliefs and our way of living and how proud I am to be a Filipino. You get to understand better “Why It’s more Fun in the Philippines.”
Happy Love Month my fretz! Here are my previous posts on Filipino courtship and traditions:
I just want to show you some out of these world beliefs that are usually prohibited or required in a Filipino Wedding. I can’t even attest if they’re true or not but they’ve been in existence since forever.
Wedding Superstitions
Even at this present time, there are still Filipinos who believe in these different wedding superstitions and some find them downright crazy and ridiculous. These beliefs don’t have any scientific goals and don’t even have any logical explanations.
This list doesn’t even make sense but I’ll try to recall as much as I can on these superstitious beliefs about weddings.
Disclaimer: Please don’t fret too much. This is written out of fun and it’s up to you if you believe these things or not.
You won’t lose anything if you believe them or not. Some of them are just too out of character and out of this world for us in today’s world.
Bear in mind that marriage is not just all about customs and beliefs. Marriage takes hard work and continuous trust, faith and loyalty. ♥
I do hope you enjoyed reading my country's wedding superstitions! Until next time my fretz!
