Libtong Cove is located in Cantilan Surigao del Sur.
It is a secret paradise situated in General Island, a deep blue water enclosed with different rock patterns, cliffs, trees and often match up to the Palawan's magnificent lagoons.
It was an unexpected adventure because it was late night when I and my cousins decided to go to Libtong cove. Since our friend has a private pump boat, we were brought to the place for free. I will never forget how the placed amazed me, from its natural rock formations to the deep blue sea surrounded by cliffs and green trees. They have a lot of activities to offer like kayak and paddleboard.
How do you get there?
Libtong cove is part of General Island Cantilan, Surigao del Sur. It is an island a few minutes away from their port. This is more than 52 km away from Tandag, The capital City of Surigao del Sur.
From Tandag City you can ride a Van directly to Municipality of Cantilan and if you ride by bus going to Surigao tell the driver or the conductor that you will drop in Cantilan. The fare is Php100 per head.
If you reach Cantilan Proper, ride a tricycle and tell the driver that you have to drop in Brgy. Consuelo port for Php30 fair per head. In Consuelo port, you have to ride a pump boat 15mins. going to the Island.
