Steemit Family Philippines has 382 members on its facebook page and it is still growing. My mision was to spread the word about steemit. To help out my friends and family to get heard and earn. But it has grown to more than just my family and friends.
Three months had past since I started spreading the word about steemit to my friends. Not only did the group expand in Baguio City but also in Ilocos region and other parts of the world such as the Middle East. Out of the 382 members from the group, there are about 150 members that actually joined steemit. The other members are still yet to be part of the steemit community. I believe in giving them time to adapt and learn more about the steemit blockchain. As I said in my first blog about the group, some will take longer than others to adapt.
People got more interested in steemit when they saw the proof of pay out. Below are examples of payout in the past weeks from the group. They were the few that actually believed in me since the start.
They will only believe once they see proof.
That is what happened recently from the last 2 weeks in our group. My friends had their first cash out to give proof to others that steemit is real.
Pay out
was the first person in the list of invites in Ilocos that had cash out. Her first cash out was around 14,000 pesos (approximately 280 USD). That is big comparing to the monthly salary of the Philippines. It surely got a lot of attention from our friends and family in Ilocos Norte.
said that friends that didn't believe her before (they called it scam) started to message her on how to sign up and how to earn. Wouldn't you react too on how to earn that much money in 3 weeks? I know I would.
Anyway, her first pay out started a big spark not only in Ilocos region but also in the group. It got a big attention. All of a sudden, friends and family in Ilocos Norte wanted in. They wanted to know how steemit works.
Being the proud cousin of , I immediately posted on our facebook group page. This is what I had to say:
My invite has earned 14000+ pesos. It is nice to see her do a trial cash out. She earned it through persistence and perseverance despite difficulty during the start of her journey.
No money needed to make money here in steemit. Just time and dedication to post daily and interact with the community.
Good luck to those that are still sticking with me through thick and thin. Steem on fellow
. You will reap the reward in the future like how Genevibs Ramiscal Ramento did.

What I like the most with 's first cash out was that she used the money in a good way. She gave 2,500 pesos to our "Annual Family Get Together." The remaining money she got from steemit, she gave to her parents for Christmas and New year spendings.
Her story got everyone in the group pump. The people that stayed with the group, , were hype up to post and do better in their blogs.
Pay out
The next person to cash out from my initial invite was . He lost his first account after not listening to me. He only saved his password on his phone. After a week or so of posting, his phone betrayed him and all his notes got lost including his password.
That didn't stop him though, he made a new account and started all over again. It was hard to convince him to join again but he did. He pushed through and after a month or so, he was able to do his first cash out of about 7,000+ pesos.
Being a proud friend, I also posted about his first cash out on our facebook group. Here is what I had to say.
Congratulations to Tennesse Santos Talavera. His first cash out worth 7,000 pesos. After just 3 weeks he said.
He is the first person that I invited that took me seriously. He believed in me the first day I invited him. Thank you for that. He actually lost his first account but made a new one despite the set back.
It didn't cost him a dime to sign up and earn money. He didnt put any money into the site. Just time and effort. Like how we put our time in other social media such as facebook and instagram. (You don't earn anything from these site).
Why did I invite other people to the site where I don't get nothing in return from them? Well, i did it to feel that satisfaction of happiness...that I could help someone even if it is just telling them to sign up. Encouring them to post, etc.
Congratulations again Tennessee. Steem on my friend!

He also garnered some wins in photo contests.
Sometimes life can be rough but it is up to you as an individual to push through the hard time. That is what did.
Pay out
I had the gut feeling of when I invited her to steemit. I knew that she would do great. Look at her now, she is doing great.
had her first pay out of aroun 14,000+ pesos. Here is what I had to say about her journey.
Congratulations to another steemian Kaye Borillo. Trying out her first cash out worth 14,343 pesos.
She still have 120,000 to 160,000 pesos left in her account.
She believed in me right from the start and she is now enjoying the result of her hard work. She started like any steemians; struggling and didn't understand much about the site. But now she is more capable of teaching others how to get around. Congrats ulit. :)
