Good Day to all my Fellow Steemians!
Our topic for the day is all about:
A SALESPERSON IS LIKE GRANDMA'S CAKE RECIPE.
YOU HAVE TO HAVE ALL THE INGREDIENTS OR IT ISN'T THE SAME.
I read a book an excellent article about being a total salesperson. It made me think of when I tried to replicate my grandma's carrot cake recipe. It was ok but I left out few ingredients. Who knew what 1/4 tsp of cinnamon & substituting applesauce for oil would make that much difference?
Same as being a Salesperson. You need to have all the ingredients to be successful. Miss a couple ingredients, no matter how insignificant it seems, it makes a difference.
Start with:
Motivation
Commitment
Desire
You need to blend:
Personality
Passion
Humility
Empathy
Thinking skills
Honesty
Transparency
Flexibility
Mix with:
Communication
Listening skills
Willingness to learn
Keeping open mind
Openness to change/ adapt
Teamwork
Sacrifice
Frost with:
Accountability
Understanding
Effort
Knowledge
Top with lots of respect!
Haven't broke down all the measurements of how much of each ingredient needed but I got what I needed. But I know I need all of the ingredients to be the best person I can be.
Grandma just left me carrot cake recipe. As much as I love carrot cake, wish it was a Succesful Salesperson recipe instead.
Now I am off to bake.
