Based on study done by "Digital Global Overview" on 2016 Filipino leads the world in use of social media, that includes Facebook, twitter, instagram and Etc.

1. Fcaebook - Over 30 Million User
40% are young adults aged 18 – 24
15% are teenagers aged 13 -17
11% are more mature adults aged 35 – 44

Based on this studies I come to conclusion, that if large percentage of filipino's that using this social medias comes aware of Steemit, and on how to use it and what is the benefits of using it, I think we can become one of the top user of steemit around the world.
I am not discouraging everyone to oust other social media, I just want them to make their browsing have a purpose, not just wasting time.
