Due to cold weather and prolong exposure of feet on the cement ground or floor tiles, we could get or experience sudden joint pains on ankles. I had been experiencing this for few yrs now, though before I never know what would be the best remedy for this. Lately I found out an effective remedy for joint pains on ankles or what we call arthritis.
I bought a pack of hot compress, and put on hot water inside. Then I would start tapping it to my affected area. I won't stop until I can feel a little bit better. I do it 3-5 times every session and at least 2-3 times session in one day.
Or we can use the hot water bottle, and let your foot roll it back and fourth. You can at least put a protective layer to prevent burn. It's effective and better than taking pain reliever meds.
