I had just moved far away from home for the first time in my life for an academic sojourn in the Philippines, days progressed to weeks and then months after i had arrived the beautiful country of Phillipines and already settled in and ready to scale through the rigors and hurdles of medical school, I allowed myself to be free, to be daring, to make changes and explore my new environment. I started taking short trips around the country, I realized how more in sync with life I had become, infact I had begun to revel in it. For me it was now easy, I was in a different world. As the age old maxim says life is a sum total of experience gained and lessons learned. Bearing this in mind i wanted to make the most of my stay in the Philippines awesome and full of wonderful memories that when I leave here, I would have to leave with great and awesome experiences of my stay here. Fresh from my trip to Binan, I decided to first the mall of Asia for the first time. I lived in Makati city which was about 15-30minutes drive to MOA depending on the traffic.
Few minutes after I got to MOA, I was already hungry and couldn't help but to treat myself to what have become my favorite meal within my short time here, rice and chicken at MANG INASAL (uptill now I don't know what that means in tagalog).
I had finished eating my favorite meal, took a walk around the bay area, a visit to Shrine of Jesus the Way, the Truth and the Life catholic church. I must say it was breathtaking and insanely beautiful site. I had a great day There is indeed more fun in the Philippines. More pictures below
