Here in the UK, it is the half-term, and that means a week off for me. Granted that there is some marking and lesson planning I need to do but they are somewhat menial tasks. The best thing is not waking up ridiculously early, and now I have more time to spend on steemit.
I'd like to say thank you to and the others who lead the project. Your support means a lot and I love the initiative and I hope you keep trying to bring exposure to those who are not getting the recognition they deserve.
You Are Making A Difference And A Sense Of Purpose Is Developed
One thing I adore about being a teacher is that your work creates this empowering sense of purpose. You get the opportunity to touch the lives of your students and contribute to making their future one that is bright and productive.
You experience many different problems as you being to teach a new generation with the rapid advancement of technology but when you get over learning curves and remedy a problem, it really hits you how significant and important being a teacher is.
Forming Strong Bonds
One thing which isn't attainted in any other careers is that teaching has the opportunity to inspire students, not only academically but personally as well. If you think back to when you were a child, I’m sure you can recall at least one teacher that really stood out and made a difference in your life. You may have some daunting experiences of some teachers as when I was younger I did have some intimidating teachers but in the grand scheme of things most memories are positive.
Teaching is touching the lives of your students, making connections that will last a lifetime, and providing them with inspiration that will take them places in their lives. This bond is one of the reasons why I love getting up and going to work.
Is It As Boring As It Seems?
Despite how monotonous teaching may sound it is never the save every day. There are endless things that change every day and new experiences you uncover. There are always things that alter that day to make it feel unique which could range from a change in student moods or the time of day, but things are never the same.
What I am trying to say it is not as dull as it looks. You do come about some hurdles, and inherently it can be frustrating and difficult, but all I can say is that you will never be bored and it is genuinely amazing following the growth of a student. It is a story coming to life written by you.
