Good evening to all, I had to take some time to think about how to start telling my story so that anything that follows makes sense and is interesting. So let's dive in, I'm a single dad to a great young man, my son Ephram. I brought him here to our tropical beach spot approximately 17 years ago. His mother was deep into drug use and in following posts I will expand on the crazy that entaled, but for this post we'll get the base of why I'm here. The story of each person is very complex because every moment we're here forms our perception of this life and based on how we choose to intrpret that information we choose how our character will form and define who we will be.
So I knew for my personal safety I needed to remove myself from his mother and her addiction and I had to think long and hard how to protect my son from an inevitable horror of a childhood if I were to have left him. I decided to give up any chance of a normal life for me to protect him and give him a semblance of a happy and productive childhood. So we left when he was about 2 years old. A little background on our connection, when he was born the doctor asked me if I would like to receive him and moved out of the way to allow me to do so. So I received my son and I'm the first person that he smelled and I felt and still feel that he is my human to guide and protect.
So how we were able to slip away is an interesting story as well...
