I wrote a part of this post months ago and then I titled it 'Acceptance' but after re-watching the movie 'Game Of Thrones' I decided to change the title following a quote from one of the character in the movie, Tyrion Lannister.
Tyrion Lannister, the dwarf popularly known as The Imp caught my attention in that movie when he made the statement below to Jon Snow.
Let me give you some advice, bastard. Never forget what you are, the rest of the world will not. Wear it like armour and it can never be used to hurt you.

You might never fully understand how important this message was except you understand the condition that it was made. Jon Snow was a bastard son of a king and Tyrion Lannister was a dwarf son to another king too. They both have something in common, the were potential heir to a throne but in a condition that a lot of people will better die than see them climb that throne. So, this was a very heavy truth to them both, if they were to survive and succeed.
I wrote a post a couple of weeks ago, titled Be Ruthless, First To Yourself. In that post I mentioned that no matter what happened, Never Lie To Yourself. You can lie to the entire world if need be but never lie to yourself.
There's been a lot of talk lately that people should always speak positively into their life. To speak of things you want to be as if they are and to always believe that you are what you want to be. This is where most people go overboard and forgot who and what you are.
If it's not Home, then don't feel at home. Forgetting who and what you are is like a guest whom the host asked to feel at home and he decided to take the word as it is and lived as if at home.

What do you think will happened? Soon the host grew tired of the guest and sought excuses to send him home. When the excuses didn't work, it turned to pure confrontation that led to friction between the host and the guest.
We all know about the biblical story of the children of Israel in Egypt. First they came in as guest, but decided to feel at home in a strange man's land and soon forgot what they truly were in Egypt. That led them to being enslaved in Egypt.
According to the Mafia Manager, this is something the Old Mustache Petes - the earliest mafioso in the United States, learned the hard way. They were one of the biggest and strongest Mafia group right from the old country. They knew who they were and what they represent. Soon they forgot it all and forgot what they were... long story short, the Mustache Petes are long dead and gone. That's the lesson.
Man! Know thyself: Socrates made this statement years ago challenging you to define who you really are.
- Just how well do you really know yourself?
- How do you answer the question: who am I?
- Look at how you define yourself - by your employment, your relationships, your possessions, your dreams, your actions, by what you do, by what you think, by what you say, and by what you like.

Your consciousness is the fundamental part of you. Just like you heart for pumping blood, your consciousness is an integral part of you which must be kept alive everyday.
I have seen servants hanged, because they forgot who they were. I've seen workers fired, because they forgot their place. I'm not trying to limit you and your imagination, far be it. But should the servant wear the master's shoe? He can but first the master must be out.
Life is war and war is business. You don't put the horse before the cart. I'm writing in general terms, so you should look at it specifically as it relates to you.
Where you are now, your family, work, church, family history etc. What are you there? What is that point that can cause you to fall? If someone was to hurt you, where would they touch to hurt you the more.
It's called Pressure point. Keep it a secret and never forget it.
Remember you are not perfect. No one ever is. therefore, it is important to always evaluate yourself for strength and weakness. Take note of your weaknesses and keep them only to yourself. Put in continuous efforts to remove them and above all never forget those scarce in your life so others will never use them against you. Have a beautiful Sunday evening.
