Bright Blessings Steemian Multiverse!
This morning I was pondering and meditating upon hell ( not the blazing inferno of the Christian church and no I'm not a weirdo for doing this.) In so doing I was brought back to the Kyballion and the fourth hermetic principle of polarity. As you may have assumed by this point, I enjoy Hermetic Philosophy. I also believe that there lies knowledge in these old beliefs that are keys to the hologram within which we exist.
Kyballion Chapter X:
"Everything is dual; everything has poles; everything
has its pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same;
opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree;
extremes meet; all truths are but half-truths; all paradoxes
may be reconciled."--The Kybalion.
This principle brings truth upon the fact that all things, contain within it's self two aspects, sides, or poles. Some might call this Yin and Yang, Ida and Pingala, masculine and feminine when speaking in terms of the human existence, but what doesn't this apply to? Temperature is just varied degrees of hot and cold, color and sound are varied degrees of frequency. All matter is comprised of varied combinations of protons, electrons, and neutrons within the composition of vibrating atoms. There are no opposites, just varied degrees of oneness.
Gaze for a moment upon the old axioms
"All things are, and are not, all truths are but half truths, "
Why then, do we as a society, rather than trying to unite the whole do we try to separate it? Does that not sound a bit backwards? (as many things in today's way of living seem to be)
Why is it that life is seemingly turned upside down? Could it be for control and power over the people?
Could it in fact be, that when the people are busy dividing themselves, they think not about that which is leading them to do so, recognizing the prisons that they live within?
Once upon a time Cultures recognized unity within the self as holy. Look upon the "two spirit." In some indigenous cultures, individuals who seemed to comprise a unity of genders within themselves in so doing made a third which was looked upon as holy, or special... and certainly not bad, evil or diseased.
When we began dividing people, first from nature, then from themselves, and shortly after among themselves placing labels upon individuals as if they were objects on a supermarket shelf, and categorizing them as "right and wrong" we brought hell to earth.
Most would define hell as separation from God.
God is unity, oneness, wholeness, completeness, and entirely undivided.
We are supposedly one, all unique parts of the one source,
In dividing ourselves, and creating separation, are we not in doing so creating hell?
Remember steemians, oneness is equal to holiness, and the more complete we are within ourselves, the more we become one with the world around us, two legged, four legged, plant, insect, or any other variation of life, the closer we get to heaven and god, the more divided we are, the more of hell we experience.
Blessings upon all of you, and gratitude to you for visiting my page, and sharing in my thoughts.
