Listened to this a few months back and its stuck with me as really smart analysis and frame that shakes up 20th century era labels/notions about how to analyze economics - by pointing out how technology is shifting the situation. Varoufakis obviously argues from a particular viewpoint but it feels really earnest and while its not at all the first time I've heard different pieces of this view - but the rhetoric and unifications of alot of threads here is really chefs kiss. Obviously I have reservations/problems with certain aspects of his "solutions" but nevertheless pluralism doesn't mean anything if its toothless.
He also did this talk, which struck me as legitimately brilliant - it has a chewy depth of real experience and passion.
The murky cruel world of politics. An automatic dialog of the deaf in politics - sometimes its necessary to sneak out to be free for a moment.
