People wear too many clothes. And I am not talking about clothes on our bodies but our souls. We are all fake, don't you think? So let's fix it and stay naked. Not literally, of course.
Well, literally as well.
I believe that our society is faking through its existence. People just don't want to open up to others anymore. I don't even think that people know how to do it anymore. We are all so busy trying to blend in that we don't care about ourselves anymore. It is all about belonging to other groups of people these days. We are afraid to be alone.
People who tell that they are not pretending are either liars or wizards.
I don't believe that we can know ourselves. At least I don't, and I am not ashamed of that. Every day I find something new about myself, and every day I understand that I know way too little to say "I am always behaving as true me." It would be a lie. I don't know who is true me just yet.
If you think you do just dig deeper and try to answer all unanswered questions. People who truly know themselves have no doubts. Do you have doubts?
Also, there is that part of being afraid of opening up because you might get hurt. There is nothing new to say about it. I don't even trust myself, so why would I trust others? How can we expect others to show their naked souls if they don't feel comfortable to show their naked bodies? (I am not implying that we should be walking naked. That would be awkward.)
Just try swimming naked. Join nature.
I love swimming naked. The moment I am floating in the water makes me experience complete freedom. I feel safe. It feels like I fully open up to nature and nothing can hurt me anymore. Ironically, the fear of getting hurt by others by showing your true colors can only be destroyed when you show your true colors for once. Yup, we only fear the unknown.
